Breakfast often is considered to be the most important meal of the day and as such it should be celebrated once in a while...for example by going out for brunch. Hamburg sure has a lot to offer in that area but in spite of the multitude of options my favorite location is the so called Lekkerbies in Eppendorf...even though it does not have a buffet. The cute and stylish little café convinces its customers with quality instead of quantity, offering only 2 choices of breakfast: a small one and a big one for either 7 or 11.50 euros. Both include a croissant, an egg, a flute, marmelade, butter as well as  a yogurt with fruit. And in case you decide to order the larger version you will also get another flute, a roll, cheese, salami, ham, an orange juice and (last but definitely not least) the homemade and very delicious cream cheese! If you would ratherlike to eat something sweeter you can also take advantage of the assortment of cakes and tarts without doing anything wrong. In any event the nice waitors and waitresses will bring you your food safely to the table, where you can relax with a good cup of chai latte for a couple of hours. If you plan to go there on a sunday I would definitely recommend to make a reservation, which you can do in a very 2.0. way via facebook. I, for my share, am already looking forward to my next visit and would really enjoy seeing one of you then...
