Au Revoir New York

Die letzte Woche in New York war vor allem eines: sonnig! Insbesondere in den letzten Tagen sind die Temperaturen nochmal ordentlich in die Höhe geschossen, sodass es gestern zum ersten Mal in diesem Jahr möglich war, ohne Jacke vor die Tür zu gehen. Natürlich musste das -wie man auf dem Bild unschwer erkennen kann- auch sofort ausgenutzt werden!

The last week in New York was particularly one thing: sunny. Especially yesterday and the day before temperatures almost reached 80 degrees, so that you didn't even have to wear a jacket for the first time this year. As you can see on the picture I immediately took advantage of that and went outside only with a cardigan.

Heute ist nun der letzte Tag meiner Reise angebrochen und New York zeigt sich erstmals bedeckt. Bis zum Abflug heute Abend muss ich zwar noch ein paar letzte Einkäufe erledigen, aber den Rest des Tages kann ich nochmal komplett nutzen um mich ausgiebig von der Stadt zu verabschieden. Auf dem Programm steht in jedem Fall noch ein Burger bei Shake Shack, bevor ich mich ab morgen (endlich?!) wieder gesund ernähren kann bzw. muss. Alles in allem war mein kleiner Urlaub in die USA wirklich mehr als gelungen. Ich habe viel Neues gesehen, gut gegessen und alte Bekannte wieder getroffen. Mein Schrank wurde etwas gefüllt, meine Kamera täglich benutzt und auch das Bloggen ist nicht zu kurz gekommen. Kurzum: perfekte 11 Tage! Au Revoir New York. Bis zum nächsten Mal...

Today is the last day of my vacation in New York and for almost the first time in the last 11 days the sky is clouded. Until my flight departs tonight I still have a couple of errands to run but besides that I have all day to properly say goodbye to the City. I will definitely have to have one more (actually it will be the first) Shake Shack burger before eating only healthy food in Germany from tomorrow on. Altogether this has been an amazing trip. I have seen a lot of new places, eaten a lot of good food (unhealthy but delicious), and met some old friends. I have filled my closet, used my camera and even blogged a lot.
